Keith Rowe explores the nagging questions the field of visual arts began to ask in the 20th century, stealhy bringing them to the musical universe. KEITH ROWE

He is a visual artist and improvising musician from Britain. During his career he has developed several techniques to intervene his guitar and play it in unusual ways. Rowe is a founding member of both the influential AMM group and M.I.M.E.O. Several of his recent recordings have been released by the independent label Erstwhile Records. After many years of low-profile activity, Rowe has reached a level of sensible notoriety. Due to his experimental approach to the guitar he is considered as the godfather of electroacoustic improvisation.
